Teatro Castro Alves

Recognized nationally and internationally, the Castro Alves Theater is the largest cultural complex in North-Northeast Brazil. National heritage, registered by the National Historical and Artistic Heritage Institute (IPHAN) in 2014, this public equipment is linked to the Bahia State Cultural Foundation (Funceb), an entity linked to the Bahia State Department of Culture (SecultBA). The TCA is the scene of important local, national and international shows of the most varied artistic languages, besides being responsible for a series of training activities and to host other diverse artistic and cultural activities.
