Salvador was born in Pereira

In 1535, he was born on the beautiful beach of Porto da Barra, a village with about 100 houses, the Village of Pereira.

Created by Francisco Pereira Coutinho, donor of the Hereditary Captaincy of the Bay of All Saints, the town also housed the legendary Caramuru and its Paraguaçu. Only years later, in 1549, Tomé de Souza would disembark in the place to officially found the first capital of Brazil. Centuries passed, the city developed, but Barra did not lose its cozy, noble and charming air. Ideal place to be born on January 6, 2004, in this beautiful mansion in colonial style that joins the classic and the modern, the Pereira Restaurant.

Part of the Vila da Barra Gastronomic Complex, the Pereira adds a touch of charm and flavor to Porto da Barra. With a distinctive concept of entertainment in Salvador, the restaurant offers the best of cutting-edge contemporary cuisine without giving up traditional elements, next to one of the most contemplated postcards in the world.

The infrastructure of the place counts with all refinement and comfort for its public. There are 500 m2 divided into four exclusive environments, ranging from the indoor heated area to the deck, with trees that have been maintained and adapted to the decoration of the environment, ensuring an intimate atmosphere also in the external area, allowing a tasty experience with a view to the sea.

The success of this business is the result of the union of entrepreneurs concerned with offering a differentiated and quality service. For this reason, it is worth checking out because Pereira is one of the best-frequented restaurants in the city.
