Museu Regional de São João del-Rei

The Regional Museum of São João del-Rei / IBRAM, in Minas Gerais, presents an exhibition of everyday aspects of the behavior and customs of the 18th and 19th centuries, depicted in furniture, utensils, transportation, religious images and paintings. The purpose of the collection is to tell some of the intimacy and way of life of the miners in the colonial period. In addition to the long-term exhibition, the MRSJDR brings throughout the year several exhibitions of artists from the city and region exhibited during a certain time in the Museum.
