Nestling in one of the oldest wings of the University of Liège, the Wittert Museum preserves an exceptional artistic heritage: more than 60,000 works of various kinds, from prints to African art, including drawing, photography, painting, sculpture and numismatics. The museum offers a varied programme where temporary exhibitions alternate with the semi-permanent exhibition "Wonders and Curiosities", whose display is reviewed every three years. The museum is also a place for exchanges and meetings, in connection with the University and the city. It is one of the tools that promotes, stimulates and encourages research. It reaches out to all audiences by offering a variety of activities that open the eyes to art and the museum environment. Accessible to all, free of charge, it offers an intimate setting for a privileged discovery of the exhibits. Open Monday to Friday, btw. 10 am and 4.30 pm ; on Saturday btw. 10 am and 1 pm.
