A landscaped park of 5 hectares, the Waux-Hall is lined with open-air sculptures (19th - 20th centuries), which gives it a unique romanticism. Property of the City of Mons since 1892, the park offers several recreational opportunities: boating, health track, playground, tennis ... The park also has an open cafeteria for all visitors. Designed by landscape architect Louis Fuchs, the Waux-Hall Park (1862-1864) hosts a remarkable collection of plants and secular trees, water features and lawns where 100,000 bulbs flourish in the spring to offer an enchanting spectacle. In short, place of leisure, relaxation, family nature, the Waux-hall site is widely open to all.
