Take a dip in this swimming lake nestled into the lush greenery of Gaume and explore the surrounding heritage.

Perfect for a refreshing summer’s day out, there’s not only super swimming pool vibes at this natural spot, but plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy.

  • With a pontoon designed as a wooden deck, it’s the perfect place to dip your toes in the water before diving right in. If you’re a keen swimmer, you can be safe in the knowledge that the water is of excellent quality and totally safe for splashing about.
  • If you’d rather get on the water than in the water, there’s a small pier with paddle boats so you can head out and explore without getting your hair wet.
  • There’s a skatepark nearby if the teens want to show off some skills as well as a paintball arena to challenge your mates. The lake is the perfect place to cool off after running around in protective gear!
  • The littles ones can be kept occupied at the playground.
  • There’s a café on site if you fancy some refreshments. Remember to stay hydrated in the hot summer months!

If you feel like discovering the surrounding area, Lake Conchibois is also the starting point for the “Sint-Ldjir” walk; a 6km trail that will take you through fields and villages to explore the village of Saint Léger along with its history and heritage.
