Domaine de Berinzenne

Re-energise yourself in the nature packed park of Domaine de Berinzenne. Super close to tons of pretty hikes!

Close to the forests of Spa and the beautiful walking area of Fagne de Malchamps, Domaine de Berinzenne is a perfect stop for trekkers exploring Liege. Enter into a large open field to discover the pretty observation tower with a great view across the park. Surrounded by trees, wooden walking paths and water, Domaine de Berinzenne is one of those places you’re lucky to stumble across!

Trekkers can take a breather at the picnic tables, take a seat by the lake, or enter into Maison de la Nature for a snack at the café. There’s also some info on the surrounding nature & nearby walks available from here. Maison de la Nature isn’t open on the weekends! It’s not an unmissable spot, but convenient if you need a break for a walk. You’ll at least want to stop by for a nice photo of the panoramic tower.

• Climb to the top of the panoramic tower for a great view of the Fagne. See the lake, forests and more from above. If you’re hiking around the Fagne de Malchamps, try to pick a path that takes you this way or start here. See here for further details.
• You’ll also find the Forest & Water Museum here. Only available in Dutch and French - no info or guides in English. Worth a quick look if you’re into nature or know either of those two languages.
