**Explore 65m deep into Wallonia’s caves! Get your adventuring gear on. **

One of the gems of Luxembourg, the Caves of Hotton are a hot-on tourist spot. Known for its cave exploration, galleries and the underground stream. It’s the only cave system in Belgium to have a big gorge, so you’re in for something unique. And you can’t miss the 30m deep sinkhole.

Walk the caves

Take 1 hour to explore the Caves of Hotton. Discover gravity defying, natural stone structures along your exploration. The caves actually came to be thanks to an earthquake, so there’s large caves, small caves and everything in between. Plus, you’ll see the underground river “river with no name” that somehow has super clear water.

  • Family friendly: check out the playground for the kids, just before the entrance building. Let ‘em play while you enjoy views from the terrace of nature. Also, there’s a vending machine to grab a drink before you go deep diving into the caves. The playground is OK for young kids, but they might struggle in the caves.
  • Cheesy: go to the Caves of Hotton shop to find cheese that’s aged in the caves. Unexpected, we know, but worth a try for cheese lovers.
