Bar Oost

Enjoy drinks and live music throughout the summer at this former railway site in Antwerp.

Known for its live music, traditional cuisine and cozy atmosphere, Bar Oost is a must-add to your summer bucket list. Located in Spoor Oost, the former railway site shows off its industrial character with old train carriages and yellow cranes giving you a taste of the history here.

• Grab a drink from an old carriage and settle down in the sun or under the large canopy. As the sun starts to set, the range of mismatched lights give off the cosy vibe whilst always in keeping with the local character.
• Enjoy food from the folk kitchen along with a range of live music and DJs playing throughout the evening to get the party started. There’s even open mic nights if you fancy getting up there yourself!

Oostnatie

Bar Oost is a production of Oostnatie, a non-profit organisation who wants to maximise the use of Spoor Oost as a public space and strives for a green park rather than a mere concrete plain. By organising as many activities on the site as possible together with neighbourhood associations, Oostnatie hopes to turn ‘Park’ Spoor Oost into a real park.

The summer bar is part of this initiative and plays host to plenty of activities throughout the summer to help Oostnatie’s vision.
