**Aspiring artists and gallery wanderers should check out this hidden gem of an art museum. Art by Frank Brangwyn is featured on the top floor. See everything from carpets, paintings and glassware **
Tucked away on the top floor of Arentshuis, you’ll find tons of art by the well-known artist Frank Brangwyn, who was born in Bruges in 1867. Brangwyn was one of those love or hate artists back in his day. He got criticism for doing tons of different art forms: everything from paintings to stained glass. He even had his art rejected from the House of Lords in England because it was ‘too colourful’. Everyone really is a critic, huh?
On the ground floor, you’ll see tons of graphic design work. We know, what a mix. Arentshuis is basically the sister museum of Groeninge Museum and Print Room of Musea Brugge. But if you want to skip past the tourist crowds and see art a lot of others won’t, Arentshuis is where it’s at.
