An open-air street art gallery in Parc des Etangs.

Hidden beneath the busy ring roads above Parc des Etangs, the street art of the sometimes gritty Anderlecht is a beautiful gallery of graffiti. Vibrant and modern, Anderlecht’s street art is known as the Hall of Fame. There’s portraits of celebs, there’s unique nature-inspired art, and more. Brussels has tons of street art all around its urban centre, but having some in a park gives you the option of chilling outside on the grass.

When you come to the park, you’ll have your own unique gallery experience. The street art is updated all the time. You never really know what you’re going to see. Artists kind of have a silent agreement not to cover the best work unless they’ve really got something awesome, so there’s a few artworks that are basically permanent exhibits!

  • We’re not kidding when we call this a gallery. There’s 150 columns beneath the bridge that have been used as canvas by the street artists. One of the top works of art is the portrait of Stromae, but we’ve seen comic art, animals and much more.
  • Street art kicked off here during Itinérart 2016. 15 street artists were invited to paint the columns to make a ‘Hall of Fame’ around the theme ‘The Giants of Anderlecht.’ Since it’s beginning, the consistent theme hasn’t really stuck and now the artists return with new varieties all the time.
