Visit the museum and step back in time . The museum portrays the life of a miner and he hardships they endured. Showing young children and the jobs they had to face underground. There are many interactive panells and activities for visitors to the museum. A popular attraction is the miners kitchen, showing the living conditions of the miner and his family. The museum houses a fantastic display of stained glass designed by Deborah Coombs and Cymmer Comperhensive school. There are also a number of outside exhibits to see such as a miniature steam engine. The museum has been lucky to have been awarded funding from the Coalfield Regeneration Trust and the Lottery
