The museum in buildings on 13 Gdanska Street and Radogoszcz Street in Zgierska 147 in Lodz holds over 45,000 different exhibits related to the history of Łódź, the Lodz region, Poland, and the fate of Polish citizens of different nationalities. Archival collections, iconography, museums, collected since 1960 on society from the 18th century to our modern times are constantly supplemented, compiled, cataloged, made available on permanent exhibitions, temporary exhibitions and stored in collections. Polish soldiers fighting on all fronts of World War II, martyrology of Polish society from the tsarist period until 1956 are particularly well documented. Including military equipment, part of uniforms, patriotic memorabilia of the partitions, exhibits related to Tadeusz Kościuszko, Józef Piłsudski, collections of banners and posters, remains of prisoners of war concentration camps - to name a few examples - all the time serve the society. Group and individual visitors to our Museum are invited to exhibitions, lectures and lectures, meetings with Veterans, Historical Reconciliation Groups, etc. We invite you to actively participate in cultivating the native past.
