Golfclub Gut Altentann

Only 20 minutes away from the festival city of Salzburg, lies the Golfclub Gut Altentann. Opened in 1989, the site was the first space designed by Jack Nicklaus in Europe. Jack Nicklaus placed great importance on two criteria when planning the course: First, golf should be a game of precision rather than strength. Second, every player who puts his head in front of the muscles should be rewarded. This is how the place has become. With the right strategy you will defeat the place. But if you try to get close to the flag alone by overcoming distances, you will not make it into the higher orders of the club.
